Lampades, or fire fae are a crepuscular species. They are natural users of fire magic. The average lampades male and female are about 5'8'' and 5'4'' (1.73/1.63 m) respectively. Lampades have human-ear-length pointy ears and human-esque features. Their hair grows wavy. They have skin tones of red and orange, with redder skin tones in Sotram and more orange skin tones in Culeparossa. They have red, orange, brown, black, and yellow eye and hair colors. Lampades have a lifespan of 90-100 years. Lampades reach maturation typically around 15 and are considered adults around 17. Females ovulate once every three months, and typically can only produce 1 child every three to four years. Males will typically stay to help raise children. They sometimes enter into life-long relationships.
Lampades originate from the Culeparossa and are found across the former country of Sotram, Nortram, and Alhamra as well. There are some in Croulia, but they are rare. Their diets are similar to humans.
Lampades regenerate their fire magic through sleep and eating. They are immune to fires and burning up to 1200 degrees Fahrenheit (650 Celsius).
Lampades were not an insular species prior to the Altruist movement. They are often highly and openly critical of the Altruist movement, to the point that they are commonly arrested in Altruist affiliated countries, including their country of origin. Culeparossa has many communities of lampades that live outside the official cities, in order to live outside the constraints of Altruist rule. Lampades are often passionate and hot-headed. Death as a result of scuffles, duels, extreme sports, and other forms of dangerous entertainment is not uncommon.
Lampades can only reproduce viable offspring with humans, those who have fire-based magic, and other fae races.
The lampades speak the language of Culeparossa, Meridional, which is based on Spanish/Portuguese.
Naiad/Nix/Undine (Water Fae)

Naiads, nix, undine, or water fae are a diurnal species. They are natural users of water magic. The average water fae male and female are about 5'10'' and 5'6'' (1.78/1.68 m) respectively. Naiads have human-ear-length pointy ears and human-esque features. Their hair grows wavy, straight, and curly. They have skin tones of various shades of blue and greenish-blue, with truer blue skin tones near Goetrock and northern Croulia; white-blue skin tones in northern Goetrock and Islannin; darker blue skin tones in the south; and more greenish-blue skin tones in the southern island areas. They have black, blue, bluish-green, and green eyes and hair. Naiads have a lifespan of 110-120 years. Naiads reach maturation typically around 16 and are considered adults around 18. Females ovulate once every six months, and typically can only produce 1 child every three to four years. Males will typically stay to help raise children. They sometimes enter into life-long relationships.
Nixes originate from the country of Goetrock. Undines originate from island countries. They are both the same species and are called Naiad as a general term. Naiads are found in Croulia and Nortram as well but are more rare. Their diets are similar to humans but are often heavily reliant on seafood.
Naiads regenerate their water magic through sleep and eating. They can breathe underwater. They have a maternal heritage trait of shape-shifting, which allows them to turn into a different creatures. Naiads who are able to shapeshift can only transform into puddles and one type of creature besides their humanesque form.
Naiads are generally an insular species. While they do intermarry with cyclops, humans, merfolk, sirens, and naga in the region, it is not common.
Naiads can only reproduce viable offspring with humans, cyclops, aquatic races, those who have water-based magic, and other fae races.
While Nixes speak common, they also speak Goetrockian, which a a variation of their original language. Goetrockian based on Dutch. Undines speak both common and the local language of their region, such as Meridional, Nordligic, or Oceanic.
Dryads (Nature Fae)

Dryads, or nature fae are a diurnal and species. They are natural users of nature magic. The average dryad male and female are about 5'6'' and 5'2'' (1.68/1.58 m) respectively. Naiads have human-esque features. Their hair grows wavy and curly. Those from central Croulia have lighter green skin tones, those from southern Croulia and Gleann Rois have brownish green skin tones, and those from Gattenwood and central Nortram have medium green skin tones. Their hair and eye colors are various shades of brown and green. Dryads have a lifespan of 110-120 years. Dryads reach maturation typically around 15 and are considered adults around 17. Females ovulate once every three months, and typically can only produce 1 child every three to four years. Males do not typically stay to help raise children. They are more sexually promiscuous, and only occasionally enter into life-long relationships.
Dryads originate from the country of Croulia. Dryads are found in Gleann Rois, Gattenwood, Vestia, and Nortram as well. They are herbivores.
Dryads regenerate their nature magic through sleep and eating. They have a maternal heritage trait of shape-shifting, which allows them to turn into a plant, usually a tree or flower. Dryads who are able to shapeshift can only transform one type of plant besides their humanesque form.
Dryads are not an insular species. They are often more sexually promiscuous than humans and are not particular about the species with which they copulate. They have high natural immunity to most contagions, including sexually transmitted diseases.

Dryads speak the language of whatever area they live in.
Sylph (Wind Fae)

Sylphs, or wind fae are a diurnal and crepuscular species. They are natural users of wind magic. The average sylph male and female are about 5'10'' and 5'6'' (1.78/1.68 m) respectively. Sylphs have human-ear-length pointy ears and human-esque features. Those who originate from the Vestian mountains have light purple or sky blue skin tones, while those from Gattenwood and the Suas mountains have white or pale green skin tones. Their hair grows wavy and curly. Their hair and eye colors are pale brown, pale purple, pale blue, pale green, yellow, and white. Sylphs have a lifespan of 110-120 years. Sylphs reach maturation typically around 15 and are considered adults around 17. Females ovulate once every six months, and typically can only produce 1 child every three to four years. Males often stay to help raise children. They are more sexually promiscuous but also enter into life-long relationships.

Female sylphs can only carry 30 to 60 pounds while flying depending on fitness levels. Their wings typically look similar to butterfly or dragonfly wings.
Sylphs are an insular species. However, they will interact with other species for the occasional liaison. They only engage in coitus with bipedal species individuals that are over 5' in height. If there is a child as a result of a liaison with another species and that child does not have wings, they will not accept him or her into their community. If the child does have wings, they are accepted.
Sylphs can only reproduce viable offspring with humans, those who have wind-based magic, and other fae races.
Sylphs speak Common but do use terms associated with their German/Danish language roots.
Oread (Earth Fae)

Oreads, or earth fae, are a cave-dwelling species, so they exhibit sleeping patterns and vision abilities of crepuscular and nocturnal species. They are natural users of earth magic. The average oread male and female are about 5'0'' and 4'9'' (1.53/1.45) respectively. Oreads have human-ear-length pointy ears and human-esque features. Their hair grows wavy and curly. Oreads who originate from the Vestian mountains have medium to dark brown skin tones, while oreads originating from the Suas mountains have dark brown to dark loamy brown skin tones. Oreads originating from Mount Styxa have medium reddish-brown skin tones. They have brown, black, and green hair and eye colors. Oreads have a lifespan of 90-100 years. Oreads reach maturation typically around 15 and are considered adults around 17. Females ovulate once every six months, and typically can only produce 1 child every three to four years. Males typically stay to help raise children. They typically enter into life-long relationships.

Nephele (Lightning Fae)

Nepheles or lightning fae are a crepuscular species. They are natural users of lightning magic. The average nepheles male and female are about 5'10'' and 5'6'' (1.78/1.68 m) respectively. Nepheles have human-ear-length pointy ears and human-esque features. Their hair grows wavy and curly. They have medium brown skin tones on the west side of the Rohuian mountains, and medium to darker brown skin tones on the east side of the Rohuian mountains. They have brown, black, or blonde hair. Their eye colors are various shades of brown, yellow, and orange. Nepheles have a lifespan of 90-100 years. Nepheles reach maturation typically around 15 and are considered adults around 17. Females ovulate once every six months, and typically can only produce 1 child every three to four years. Males typically stay to help raise children. They sometimes enter into life-long relationships.
Nepheles originate from the former country of Rohuroku. Nepheles are found in Croulia, Gattenwood, Vestia, and the former country of Sotram as well. They have diets similar to humans.
Nepheles regenerate their lightning magic through sleep and eating. They have a maternal heritage trait of feathered wings that have a cottony appearance, which allows them to fly without magic. Their wings are not as strong as valkyrie wings, and cannot carry that much excess weight. Male nepheles can only carry between 45 to 70 pounds while flying, depending on fitness levels. Female harpies can only carry 25 to 50 pounds while flying depending on fitness levels.
Nepheles were not an insular species previous to their population loss with the demon wars. Before the Quatrieme War, it was not uncommon for them to intermarry with the human and elvish populations in the region. However, they now seek to restrain intermarriage for female members of their community in order to regrow their population.
Nepheles can only reproduce viable offspring with humans, those with lightning-based magic, and other fae races.
Nepheles speak Common or the language of whatever country they live in, most commonly Avisian, Elvish, or Meridional.
Nisse (Ice Fae)

Nisses, or ice fae are a crepuscular species. They are natural users of ice magic. The average nisse male and female are about 4'2'' and 4' (1.27/1.22 m) respectively. Nisses have human-ear-length pointy ears and human-esque features. Their hair grows wavy and straight. They have pale human-esque skin tones in Goetrock and Islannin with pale blue skin tones on the northern islands and the Koukku Peninsula. Their eye colors are brown and black. They have hair colors of red, white, blonde, light gray, and light brown. Nisses have a lifespan of 90-100 years. Nisses reach maturation typically around 15 and are considered adults around 17. Females ovulate once every three months, and typically can only produce 1 child every three to four years. Males typically stay to help raise children. They typically enter into life-long relationships.
Nisses originate from the former country of Islanin, the Koukku peninsula, northern Goetrock, and the northern islands above the mainland. Nisses are not found in southern regions as they prefer colder climates. They have diets similar to humans, though eat more meat and fish.
Nisses regenerate their ice magic through sleep and eating. They have a maternal heritage trait of a bite that causes frostbite in the victim, emanating from the location of the bite. The bite will kill the victim if left unattended for two or more days.
Nisses are an insular species. They do not generally intermarry, except with humans that live in their local areas. They are generally fearful of cyclops. They are a hot-headed species, and will often engage in scuffles.

Asteria (Sun Fae)

Asterias, or sun fae are a diurnal species. They are natural users of ice magic. The average asteria male and female are about 6' and 5'8'' (1.83/1.73 m) respectively. Asterias have human-ear-length pointy ears and human-esque features. They are known for having white and whitish-yellow freckles all over their face and body. Their hair grows wavy and curly. They have medium-dark brown skin tones in Culeparossa and even darker brown skin tones in Sotram. Their eye colors are brown, yellow, orange, gold, and white. They have hair colors of red, orange, white, blonde, gold, and light brown. Asterias have a lifespan of 110-120 years. Asterias reach maturation typically around 16 and are considered adults around 18. Females ovulate once every six months, and typically can only produce 1 child every three to four years. Males typically stay to help raise children. They usually enter into life-long relationships.

Lunar Fae

The lunar faes were a nocturnal species. They were natural users of lunar magic. The average lunar fae male and female were about 6' and 5'8'' (1.83/1.73 m) respectively. Lunar faes had human-ear-length pointy ears and human-esque features. Their hair grew wavy and curly. They had fair pale human-esque skin tones. Their eye colors were white, blue, silver, gray, purple, pink, and black. They had hair colors of black, dark purple, and dark blue. Lunar faes had a lifespan of 110-120 years. Lunar faes reached maturation typically around 15 and were considered adults around 17. Females ovulate once every six months and produce 2 (sometimes 3 children) every three to four years. Males typically stay to help raise children. They typically enter into life-long relationships.
Lunar faes originate from the former country of Dagmar. They are currently extinct.

Lunar faes were an insular species. They were insular to the point that they did not even associate with those outside of the lunar fae communities, except for trade purposes, and in the worship of Tolilla with certain monastic groups of humans. Not much else is known about their society, as they were so insular, and are now extinct, due to the rise of the spider-people.
