Meet the Author
I am a woman who is married to a wonderful husband (no kids yet, though still hoping). I grew up in Orange County, California, and since have moved to several different places. I majored in economics in college, with a minor in writing. I have three brothers and one sister. My family means the world to me. My husband and siblings are my best friends.
Purpose of the Website
The website is meant to be a supplement to the story. It contains a lot of the pictures, charts, and other tidbits that do not fit well into a conventional novel. I know that some people like world-building, while other people do not. The website contains all the world-building that is not completely necessary to the plot of the story, as well as some fun easter eggs. Feel free to explore the website, and figure out the mysteries.
I will be more than happy if you are able to guess the ending of the series. But I don't think you will! Mwahaha!

Origin of the Story
When I was in high school, my younger brother (and sometimes my little sister as well), who was in elementary school, used to come to me all the time to tell him various stories. He would specify whichstory he wanted me to tell him at the time by banging on my door and singing the name of the story over and over again. His favorite story was
'Posh.' The story was called 'Posh' on account of the floating, talking, furry plush ball that would follow the main character, Ethan, around making funny little quips, much like the plush characters you see in shojo manga. That character was called 'Posh,' hence the name of the story 'Posh.' Ethan and his twin sister Cassandra went on many adventures together. Cassandra did not have magic, but had telepathy, as well as a magical twin connection with her brother that allowed her to access magic while within a hundred feet of her brother. This story is very long and the world is so extensive because I spent years telling this story to him, having to come up with new material each time. I actually cut out a great deal of fight scenes, plot lines, and such to fit it inside the pages I wrote.
After leaving for college, I put the whole concept on hold for studies, travel, life, etc. But one day I came home to visit my family for the summer, my little brother and sister, who were home from college for the summer, were talking about books. My brother told her that he has yet to read a book series that he has liked as much as 'Posh.' My little sister had sat in on some of the times I had told him 'Posh' growing up, but she had missed a lot of it. So that evening, she asked me to pick up on one of the parts she had left off on. As I was sitting there, telling her the story, the whole world of 'Posh' came flooding back into my mind. All too soon, I had gone to my computer to type out the story. Since then, I have been feverishly writing, working on the website, and thinking about this day and night.
Of course, when I began writing the story as my older self, I changed it for a more developed and mature audience. I cut out the character 'Posh,' and have explored more mature topics and themes that were not in the original telling. I also cut out the part of the magical twin "sharing powers" part, because it was featured more as a gimmick to make things more complicated for my brother and also as an element of comic relief in their school shenanigans. I felt that the mechanics of the connection detracted from the story at large. I also whittled down the amount of side plots and quests to condense the story and streamline the plot, though some still remain to help with the pacing of this story.
Readers may notice remnants of some of these cut out side quests and characters, which remain as casual mentions or allusions. These are purposeful as to hint at the story's origin qnd help the reader understand the world is far more vast and expansive than what the siblings see. I also hope that it will inspire the reader's wonder and imagination as they engage with this world, just as it inspired both my and my brother's wonder and imagination while growing up.
While the overall plot and many of the events are the same as the story I told my brother, I have updated a lot of the reasonings behind the events to appeal to a more mature audience. Because of that, this story is definitely not for children or young teenagers. However, I have still made it clean enough that I can enjoy it with my siblings, the way it was originally intended.

A Special Thanks to My Husband
I just want to include a special thanks to my wonderful husband. He has been such a help and support to me throughout this process. Every day he reads what I've written, whether it is in the story or for the website. He edits it and gives me feedback. Sometimes when I get stuck, I also ask him for his advice on how he thinks a scene would go (specifically with fighting scenes, and how male characters would react to things). Not only that, but he has encouraged me with my endeavors and even supported me putting money into getting pictures and everything else involved in making a professional novel. I could never have done any of this without him there beside me. I love him, and I am grateful that God blessed me with such a kind, patient, and amazing man!
