This was due to their Uncle Clemens's interference, so the expulsion would not officially be on Cassandra's record.

Comtesse Esme d'Alveved's grandfather. He was the Comte of the county of Alveved. He fought in the Quatrieme War and was defeated and then killed by the demon King Typhon.
Vicomte Etienne d'Pommeraie

The Vicomte was one of the generals of the Altruists during the Quatrieme Demon War.

She made out with Ethan during the Spring Festival. However, Cassandra interrupted them in the middle of making out. She did this because she had just broken up with Timothy Ward, and she was distraught, wanting someone to talk to. Signy lost interest in Ethan because of this, much to his dismay. Timothy and Signy got together following the festival.

A studnapping victim in Gattenwood that Ethan found abandoned by the roadside when he was sixteen. He tried to rescue her and get her help, but she ultimately died in childbirth. The child she bore then was claimed by one of the local centaurian clans, whom Ethan realized likely had a role in her being studnapped in the first place. Her death deeply effected Ethan on an emotional level.

Ethan was not aware when he met her that she was dating anyone, and he met her only that day when they started making out and the incident occurred. Cassandra had tried to warn him, but he ignored her.
Claudio von Hyatt

Claudio von Hyatt is the son of the Baron of Hyattsville. He is one of the guys that Cassandra tried to date in tertiary school and was the captain of the school's fencing team at the time. He was also 18 and in his last year, while Cassandra and Ethan were 14 and in their first year at the time Cassandra attempted to date him. He spread rumors about Cassandra, leading to Ethan getting in a fight with him as well as the other members of the fencing team that spread those rumors. As a result, Ethan almost got expelled from school, but his Uncle, as well as a coach on the fencing team, persuaded the school to put Ethan on the fencing team instead of being expelled. Ethan's anger and resentment towards the members of the team made him a force to be reckoned with, and despite him only being a first year, eventually fought his way into taking the position of team captain away from Claudio.
Claudio's father eventually hired Jurgen Hans to craft a magical sword that assisted Claudio's fighting abilities. This allowed him to defeat Ethan and reclaim his title before he graduated. To celebrate his victory, he invited everyone on the fencing team, as well as another three dozen classmates, to his castle in Hyattsville for the summer for training and socializing. Ethan, as part of the fencing team, was required to go despite his and Cassandra's ill feelings towards him. Cassandra also had to go, since she was too afraid to be without Ethan for the summer and because their Uncle was not going to pay to have them in separate locations.
Claudio regularly ostracized Ethan and Cassandra for social events while they were in Hyattsville as payback for Ethan stealing his place as captain of the fencing team. While commiserating in their social ostracization, Cassandra and Ethan discovered that the swordsmith that Claudio's father had employed, Jurgen Hans, was imprisoned. This was because Claudio's father was so enamored with Jurgen's craftsmanship of Claudio's sword, that he wanted similar swords for himself, Claudio's brothers, and several family members and friends, but did not want to pay for both materials and the labor to craft the swords. Because of this, Claudio's father had Jurgen falsely imprisoned to force him to make the swords for free. Cassandra and Ethan broke Jurgen out of prison and helped Jurgen steal all the swords he had crafted. They then helped smuggle Jurgen out of Hyattsville so he could go live secretly with his cousin Rosamund Farrans-Rutgerstotcher in Vulkantur. As a way of saying thank you, Jurgen allowed Ethan to choose one of the swords as a gift. Ethan chose the flame sword.
Cassandra and Ethan regularly write hate mail to Claudio every Tvillinger. Claudio has yet to figure out who has been writing him these letters.
Timothy Ward

One of the guys that Cassandra dated in university. He and most of the other men at the university were infatuated with Signy Haugen, a blonde huldra girl. When Signy made some overtures to him of possibly wanting to have a liaison with him during the Spring Festival, he decided that he wanted to cheat on Cassandra with Signy. Cassandra telepathically heard him thinking about this, and knowing that he already had an infatuation with Signy from listening to his thoughts during the course of their relationship, she knew that there was nothing she could do to change his mind. Therefore she broke up with him before he cheated on her to save face.
